WHO RUNS THIS SITE?

Candypop

AKA; Lambs' Ear, Fuzz Leaf

Hiya, thank you so much for taking an interest in this page! My name is Candypop, and I'm a Yellow Pikmin who was introduced to the wonders of the internet and HTML by those curious extra-terrastrials who came to our planet in their spaceships. Some Pikmin went to the effort to understand their languages, both spoken and coding-based, and translated it into our Pikmin home-tongue, and it's thanks to them that I am able to create this site now!

I got my name "Candypop" from the Candypop Gardens that I tend to at our various landing sites. The Candypop Buds are an important part of both our family and culture, and I take pride in caring from them. I also have a second name I go by sometimes. It comes from the soft plant known to us as "Fuzz Leaf," but I understand in your language it is called a "Lamb's Ear." I inherited this name because I like to tend to plants of this variety. The plant has always been present in the areas my family calls home, and so have become a great comfort to me. Also, because I just love how soft they are! I accept being called any of these names, Candypop, Fuzz Leaf, or Lambs' Ear!

I want to use my site-making abilities to share what my life as a Pikmin is like, and to offer a window into the world I live in. If I can make you love this world even half as much as I do, then I've done my job right.

WHO ELSE IS THERE?

Ashy

This is Ashy, my best friend who also happens to be the coolest Pikmin ever. What are the odds?

I met it thanks to my Garden's migratory route taking us along volcanic territory. This location was one that both our Gardens shared. It got its name from the high amounts of Ash present at its time of sprouting.

Ashy finds great joys in the nectars and yolks of the world, and wishes to sample them everywhere. I can hardly blame it. Just the thought of a good yolk gets my belly rumbling... Ah, now I'm hungry.

It also serves as one of the visual scribes and storytellers for it's Garden, and all Gardens that visit. It has a brilliant penchant for the creative arts, and sparks joy and wonder into all that hears them. There is very little I look forward to in my Garden's travels than getting to hear its stories again. And, to share my Garden's games with it! I oftentimes think it enjoys Yellow Pikmin games more than I do!

Sunbeam

Sunbeam, and its sibling Moonlight, are a pair of Quadrapedal Pikmin twins that live in the same Volcanic area that I met Ashy at! Sunbeam particularly can be very mischievous, and is brimming with energy and enthusiasm - It was so excited to get out and experience the world, that it chose to be plucked the moment it was able. It got it's name from being plucked in the middle of a warm and sunny day, and its personality is a perfect reflection of the energising weather of that time.

Moonlight

Sunbeam's aforementioned twin, Moonlight. Moonlight was far more apprehensive about being plucked, wanting to build up some confidence before entering into the life of a Pikmin. However, it never got the chance to choose for itself - deep in the night, it was attacked by a hungry dwarf bulborb, who pulled it right out of the ground. It managed to give it the slip and survive, but its flower suffered damages from being partially eaten, and the fear it experienced during that night has preserved itself in Moonlight's now very cautious and jumpy personality.

Sprout

Continuing down below the surface, Sprout is a Bulbmin that was born in one of the many caves found around the volcanic area. Its family had always survived on a diet mostly consisting of sheargrubs, as they were a safe and prolific option. When Sprout got lost and seperated from its family, it did not have much trouble when finding and intergrating into the family of White and Purple Pikmin that also lived in the subterranean caves. After some time, it met Ashy, who had ventured into the caves to make use of its Violet Candypop buds, and Sprout would go on to follow Ashy to the surface, becoming attached, and also becoming friends with the Quadrapedal Pikmin living up above, who reminded it a lot of its old Bulbmin family.
